The World’s Fastest Indian
I’ve finally witnessed cinema perfection.
If you haven’t seen this movie… You need to. There’s no excuse. Please don’t take my words lightly. Buy it, rent it, download it, I don’t care, just see it right now.
Everything’s absolutely right about it. Absolutely perfect. Anthony Hopkin’s performance, the story, the script, the character interaction, the characters themselves, the structure, the props, the mood, theĀ music… This movie is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before.
I’ve never cried so much watching any movie, and I’ve never cheered so much for any character, ever. I’ll probably give a proper review once I’m able to see from the tears in my eyes, but for now, please take my word that The World’s Fastest Indian is one of the most remarkable movies I’ve ever seen, and certainly the most touching one. It’s funny, it’s heartbreaking, and this - along with The Pathfinder - is an incredibly real movie. Probably because it’s based on real events.
You may not read my movie recommendations, but make this an exception and go see if you can find The World’s Fastest Indian. Please. I plead with you.
